education is an action based program for all students that requires students to
use resources to design, produce, use, and assess the impacts of products and
services that extend human potential to improve and control the natural and
human made environment.
Course Level 1
INNOVATIONS
AND INVENTIONS
The course is designed to provide information and
experiences concerning potential careers within the broad field of technology
and training. In addition, leadership
training skills will incorporate the student's knowledge and discipline in
order to develop an understanding of the teamwork essential to success in
technology education.

Level 2
DIVERSIFIED
TECHNOLOGY I
This course is a technology literacy course
designed to challenge students interested in planning technical careers in
today's high technological society. The
course is designed to provide information and experiences to help the students adapt
to the workforce and the changing demands that will be placed on the workplace
in the 21st century.
Students will explore and apply technologies in the following
areas: Automation & Material
Handling, Design, Electricity & Electronics, Manufacturing Processes,
Mechanical Systems and Quality Control.
Course Level 3
DIVERSIFIED
TECHNOLOGY II
This course is a technology literacy course
designed to challenge students interested in planning technical careers in
today's high technological society. The
course is designed to provide information and experiences to help the students
adapt to the workforce and the changing demands that will be placed on the
workplace in the 21st century.
Students will explore and apply technologies in the following
areas: Automation & Material
Handling, Design, Electricity & Electronics, Manufacturing Processes,
Mechanical Systems and Quality Control.
The following pre-requisites are
required: Diversified Technology I and
Math for Technology 2 or Algebra I.
