JUNIOR RESERVE OFFICER TRAINING CORPS

SALE CREEK HIGH SCHOOL

CURRICULUM REVIEW FOR 2004-2005

The JROTC program is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork and self-discipline.  The program’s focus is reflected in our mission statement, “To motivate young people to be better citizens.”  The JROTC curriculum has incorporated the latest education theories used in secondary education.  National Education Standards have been linked to each lesson to show a cross-connection with our curriculum and the standard curriculum taught in high school.  The following are the courses taught by Leadership Educational Training (LET) level.
