Responsibility of Ooltewah Middle School Students May 12, 2010
1. The Teaching Learning Process: You deserve the best instruction that OMS is capable of providing. For the efforts of the teachers to be as successful as possible and for you to work and achieve to the best of your ability, you must cooperate with the teachers. YOU are responsible for the learning that takes place for you.
2. Personal Relationships: Each student is expected to show respect for the rights and feelings of his fellow students and to behave in such a way as to draw the respect of others towards himself. Courteous treatment is expected. Students are responsible to all faculty and staff at all times.
3. Responsibility for Your Own Actions: You will be held responsible for only the things that YOU do or fail to do. What others do or do not do is of little importance in determining whether or not you have accepted your responsibilities as a student at Ooltewah Middle School. The decision will be yours, and so with the consequence.
