The Hamilton County Virtual School will be hosting summer school opportunities for all Hamilton County students in grades 6-12. The flexibility that virtual learning provides will help ensure Success for All Students as they work to recover credits or to take courses that they would not have the opportunity to take during the regular school year. In order for such a nontraditional format of summer school to be successful, it is essential that we communicate pertinent information to all students, parents and faculty members of Hamilton County Schools.
High school students may take a maximum of two Carnegie credits during summer session.
High School students will have two opportunities to register for summer school, Thursday, June 1, from 8:30-11:30 and late registration on Friday, June 2, from 8:30-11:30. As in the past we will only accept cash or money order for summer school fees, $190/.5 Carnegie Credit, plus $10 registration fee per .5 credit. In addition, students will be required to have the signature of their respective OF, administrator, or guidance counselor and parent on their summer school registration form.
