This course is the second in a series of interdisciplinary Social Studies and English credits. The course combines the academic interrelation of world geography and literature with a multicultural perspective. (World Studies is paired with AH-WS English 10 for both terms. Students earn 1 credit in AH-WS English 10 and 1 credit in World Studies).

This course is a required survey of United States History from its' pre-colonial beginning to present day.

This course is the third course in a series of two-block interdisciplinary courses featuring a blend of traditional American History and American Literature. The attempt is made to show the relationship between the two. This course also features a one week trip to significant historical sites. (American Studies is paired with AH-AS English 11 for both terms. Students earn 1 credit in AH-AS English 11 and 1 credit in American Studies).
