This catalog is designed to assist students and parents in graduation
planning and course selection. Course descriptions are listed by
department.
All courses meet for one term (semester) and are worth one credit unless
otherwise indicated. All students, with the exception of students in the
Freshman Academy, will take four courses per term for a total of eight classes
each year. The proper sequential order of courses must be followed. Please see
page 8 for a description of Freshman Academy schedules.
One-term courses, commonly referred to as "block" or "semester" courses, meet each day for ninety-minutes. Full-year courses that meet every other day for 90 minutes on an "A/B" schedule are worth one credit. Full-year courses that meet every day for 90 minutes are worth two credits.
