
The exceptional education program has three divisions: Inclusion, Alternative Achievement (AAC) and Intellectually Gifted. Services are rendered as a result of required testing and IEP Team decision.
Inclusion Classes include the following courses:
English 9, 10, 11, 12
Algebra I, Geometry
Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry
World Geography, U.S. History, U.S. Government, Economics
Course: Career Prep I-Mathematics Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12 Prerequisite: IEP required
This course will equip students with the math competencies needed for independent living and successful employment. Students will become skilled in basic math operations and applications. Students will also gain knowledge of personal financial management including: banking, budgeting, correctly balancing a checkbook and household management. Time management and real-life problem solving skills will also be developed through this curriculum. Calculators, graphs, charts and other manipulatives will be used in this course.
