The valedictorian and the salutatorian of each graduating class must take the highest levels of English offered.

This course includes classical literature, plays, poetry, mythology, short stories and novels. Grammar is reinforced in the development of writing skills. Additional novels and an MLA Handbook are purchased by the students.
