Tri-Alpha is a sorority started at a student's request with the purpose of bridging a gap between upper classmen and freshman girls. It also provides mentors and a resource for the underclassmen to come to and talk about social life and school. Its goal is to encourage social involvement and to create and develop more open lines of communication. There are 52 big sister members of Tri-Alpha and 54 little sisters. They meet once a month. Activities include taking little sisters to sport games, school activities, and just spending some time together.
