The Ooltewah High School (OHS) Concert Choir is an audition group, which consists of sixty-five members, grades 10-12. The Concert Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Kristen Wiriam. Auditions are usually held at the beginning of each term. Any student interested in auditioning may see Mrs. Wiriam in the chorus room #302, to set up a time and receive additional information about the process.

Each year, the chorus performs for various functions, such as 'Carols by Candlelight;' 'Christmas at the Courthouse;' Morning Pointe events; Church, business and community events; and a final Spring Concert held each year at the Ooltewah United Methodist Church.

Chorus students represent OHS well each year at choral festival events, such as J.B. Lyle, University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) Choral Festival, All East and All State.  Many students have received Superior ratings at the UTK solo and ensemble vocal events as well.  Additionally, each year a student from the OHS Concert Chorus has been chosen to represent our school at the Tennessee Governor's Schools of the Arts.

If anyone is interested in inviting the OHS Chorus to perform at an upcoming function or would like to make a donation to our program, please contact Mrs. Wiriam at (423) 238-5221 #2309. The OHS Chorus take pride in representing our school in the community and appreciate any opportunity to perform.
