Ooltewah High School

The Ooltewah Band particiated in the Bands of America Regional Championship at MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN this past Saturday. The band was informed Saturday that due to the increase in student population at OHS they would be competing with AAA schools instead of the AA they had been competing with in the past. In their first competition at a Bands of America Regional Championships in Class AAA they not only were able to compete, but were awarded High Achievement Awards in Visual (Outstanding Visual Performance) for the Class and Finals. The final placements were 3rd Place in Class and Finals. The band competed with 26 other bands from six states.
