Mock Trials are competitions in which students play the attorneys and witnesses in a fake trial. Witnesses are given their statement and must act according to what they have said, while attorneys prosecute the case. Student attorneys are assisted by attorney coaches during practice. Competitions begin in February and try-outs are held in December for team positions.
OHS currently has two teams, the OHS Red Team and the OHS Grey Team. Both teams have been practicing with their coaches, Mr. Mark Whittenburg and Mr. Jason Demastus, twice a week after school. The Competition will start in early February.
