April 14th --- April 19th

Saturday, April 14th

7 a.m.--- depart from OHS

6 p.m.--- arrive at Holiday Inn Express in Washington DC

7 p.m. --- eat dinner out

Sunday, April 15th

8:45  --- leave for the Holocaust Museum Permanent Exhibition

10:00 --- Holocaust Museum Permanent Exhibition

12:30 --- Eat at the Capitol?

2 p.m. --- Visit the National Monuments

8 p.m. --- ESPN Zone for dinner/recreation

Monday April 16th

8 a.m. --- leave for Embassy Row

9:15 a.m.--- visit the Saudi Arabian Embassy*

11 a.m.--- visit the Rwandan Embassy

2 p.m. --- visit the Congo Embassy

 5 p.m.----Service at the National Cathedral

Tuesday, April 17th

7:45 a.m.--- leave for Embassy Row

9 a.m. --- visit the Russian Embassy*

11 a.m. --- visit the French Embassy*

1 p.m. --- Eat at Kavanagh’s Pizzeria

3 p.m. --- Visit the National Zoo

7 p.m. --- Washington Wizards vs. Orlando Magic Basketball game

Wednesday, April 18th

8 a.m. --- leave for Embassy Row/Int’l Drive

9 a.m. --- visit the Embassy of Bahrain

10:30 a.m. --- visit the Jordanian Embassy

12:00(noon)---visit the Embassy of Israel

1 p.m.--- eat somewhere on International Drive

2:30 --- Ghana, Bangladesh or Kuwait

6 p.m. --- eat near the hotel

Thursday, April 19th

7 a.m. ---- leave for home

8 p.m. ---- arrive back at OHS

Important things to remember for the trip to Washington DC:

  1. All rooms have microwaves and refrigerators (snacks are advised)
  2. Comfortable walking shoes are advised
  3. Dress Code: Sunday attire is requested when visiting the embassies and National

Cathedral.  Jeans and sweatshirts are acceptable at all other times.

  1. Indoor swimming pool : Only at specified “chaperoned” times

    Only with parental permission slip signed

    Swimming attire must be modest---if in doubt, ask a    

teacher/chaperone.

  1. One suitcase and one carry-on tote limit due to the loading capacity of the bus.
  2. Students should be prepared to pay for 10 meals while on the trip.
  3. Breakfast provided at Holiday Inn Express:
