    Our PTSA raised over $6,000 last year at the McKenzie Arena.  We have been able to purchase computer equipment, box lights, state-of-the-art teaching tools and more.  The McKenzie Arena concession stand that is staffed by our PTSA volunteers, teachers and students has proven to be a great success.  Our volunteers staff the concession stand for UTC basketball games, big-name concerts, family oriented shows, and more.  It is work, but it is also fun.  Hixson High School is one of the few Tennessee schools that have a stand and we are proud to be a reliable group for the arena.  But we need more volunteers to continue the project.  Sign-ups and more information will be available at registration, open house and on-line.
