General

Any students who applied for a driver’s license permit form should pick the form up from Mrs. Clark before leaving today.

Report cards will be held for overdue library books and fines.  Please see Ms. Gros in the library to take care of your obligations by Monday.

Juniors:  when you take your Senior yearbook photos this summer, your school ID photo will be automatically sent to Hixson High.  Please schedule a summer photo session at Lifetouch as soon as possible.

All students who signed up to take AP English 11 next year need to see Ms. Schaudel before leaving for summer break.  Please stop by her room as soon as possible.

Guidance

Students participating in the dual enrollment/early college classes at Chattanooga State should apply for admission and/or the dual enrollment grant prior to June first.

Congratulations to the following Wildcat Soccer players who were named to the Chattanooga Times-Free Press “Best of Preps:”  Dennis Miller, Nau Alvarez, and Sikhou Sy.  Congratulations, also, to Coach Jeff Dean for being named “Coach of the Year.”

Congratulations to Josh Ferriera who was also named to the Best of Preps for track and field.

Football players are reminded that summer practice begins Tuesday, June 1 at 9:00 a.m.

There are several cheerleading uniforms still unaccounted for.  All cheerleaders must turn their uniforms in immediately.  Take them to Coach White’s office.

All track team members should return their uniforms before the end of the day today to Coach White.

ALL athletes are reminded that any uniforms or equipment not turned in will result in an obligation to the school and a hold placed on your report card.

Anyone interested in playing golf for Hixson High next year should stop by the office to sign up.

Any girls interested in playing volleyball next year may pick up a packet in the office.  Volleyball tryouts begin Wednesday, May 26 in our gym.
