Some families must face disabilities that limit their job opportunities.
Such disabilities are not limited to those that can be visibly seen.
Some may relate to emotional problems or heart disease.
Such limitations can have a devastating effect on family security, both
financially and emotionally. Occasionally
a parent of a student at Falling Water will have a serious disability through an
accident or illness that results in a loss of employment.
Several agencies in the Chattanooga area are committed to helping people
in such situations. They can help
determine the extent of a person’s disability, provide treatment services,
training, transportation, and guidance in carrying out a rehabilitation plan so
that the disabled person can once again be gainfully employed.
