Bell, R., Changing Bodies; Changing Lives, (adult) Times Books, 1998.  This book candidly discusses teenage sexuality and the many physical and emotional changes that occur during adolescence. It is to be read under the guidance of an adult.

Woodson, J., The House You Pass on the Way, Delacorte Press, 1997. (grades 6-7).  When fourteen-year-old Staggerlee, the daughter of a racially mixed   marriage, spends a summer with her cousin Trout, she begins to question her sexuality to Trout and catches a glimpse of her possible future self.
