If you with to eat with your child, send a note with your child or call Pat Cholata at 961-2445 before 9:00am. This allows the cafeteria staff to prepare enough food to accommodate guests. A lunch charge can be obtained for a child in an emergency. A maximum of three meal charges can be accumulated. Parents will be notified after a total of three charges. All charges must be paid by the end of each month. Applicant for free and reduced meals are available in the office. Students must fill out a new application form each school year.
Competitive Foods Policy USDA policy prohibits the following items to be served in the dining area during lunch. Our cafeteria will not provide these items. Please respect our policy and the other students by not placing similar items in lunches sent from home. Carbonated Beverages Chewing Gum Certain Candies
Cafeteria Rules The cafeteria is a place for students to enjoy their friends and a nourishing meal. The general rules of good manners are expected to be practiced in the lunchroom. Simple rules of courteous behavior to make lunch a pleasant part of the day are as follows: 1. Students should sit appropriately, facing forward, feet under the table. 2. Speak with a 6-inch voice to the students beside you and across the table. 3. Toys and other non-food items should not be brought to the lunchroom. 4. Students must not return to the serving line. The cafeteria monitor will give assistance on any items needed. 5. Leaving the lunchroom without permission of the monitor is not permitted. 6. Food should not be shared. 7. No items shall be thrown in the cafeteria. Notify the monitor or the custodian of spills by raising your hand. 8. Wait until the monitor tells you it is time to leave before you take your tray. 9. Line up quietly. |
